Tjaart Schutte: New Expert Trainer for the 3PC Workshops at World Can Experience 2025
World Can Experience 2025 proudly introduces a new expert, Tjaart Schutte, who will serve as a trainer for the 3PC workshops organized as part of this innovative event. The fair will take place from February 24 to 27 at the Le Méridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Centre in Dubai.
Tjaart Schutte is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in engineering, consulting, and project management, specializing in the metal packaging manufacturing industry. He is currently the owner of CanConsult (Pty) Ltd, a company he founded in July 2022, offering comprehensive consulting services in can-making, including project management, process optimization, and technical problem-solving.
Before starting his own business, Tjaart dedicated more than 37 years to Nampak Products Ltd, where he held key positions, including:
- Project Manager in the Program Management Office (April 2021 to June 2022), overseeing program and project management.
- Technical Director (February 1985 to March 2021), leading quality, innovation, and continuous improvement initiatives in can production, as well as training and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
He began his career at ArcelorMittal South Africa, serving as Engineering Manager from January 1978 to January 1985, where he oversaw project coordination, maintenance, and various engineering tasks. Tjaart also has a unique background as a Scientific Researcher at the South African Department of Environmental Affairs, where he studied cosmic rays in Antarctica from December 1980 to April 1982.
Tjaart’s strong combination of technical expertise, management skills, and passion for innovation has established him as a leader in the metal packaging manufacturing industry.
