About Remco Louwers
Remco Louwers is an accomplished sales executive with over 25 years of experience in driving growth and operational excellence across global markets. Currently serving as Vice President of Sales at Trivium Packaging, he leads the Food Business Unit, the company’s largest division, overseeing sales of steel and aluminum packaging across 20 European factories.
Prior to joining Trivium, Remco held senior leadership roles at Carlsberg Group, including Senior Director of Sales Operations for Western Europe, managing markets exceeding €4 billion in value. His extensive career also includes key positions at Danone, Reckitt Benckiser, and Procter & Gamble, where he specialized in strategic customer development, sales operations, and P&L management.
Remco’s expertise spans change management, new business development, and leading large, multicultural teams. His proven track record in enhancing operational efficiency and delivering sustainable growth makes him a valuable leader in the packaging industry.
On a personal note, Remco is married, has four daughters, one son, and two dogs. He enjoys cooking, reading, and solving puzzle games.
