World Can Experience continues to expand the panel of experts who will participate in its next edition with the addition of Andrew Buchan as a new trainer. Recognized for his extensive career in the metal packaging industry, Buchan will bring more than 35 years of experience in three-piece can manufacturing, operational excellence, quality and innovation in industrial processes.
Throughout his professional career, Buchan has held positions of high technical and operational responsibility at some of the leading companies in the sector, including Jamestrong Packaging, Ardagh Group, Amcor and Nampak. His experience covers strategic areas such as metal packaging manufacturing, research and development (R&D), quality, food safety, process improvement and operational excellence.
His career has been developed mainly in the markets of Australia, New Zealand and South Africa, where he has led projects aimed at optimizing the efficiency of production plants, implementing new quality standards and improving the performance of industrial operations.
As a 3PC Trainer, Andrew Buchan will share his knowledge of three-piece can manufacturing processes at World Can Experience, providing a perspective based on decades of practical experience and leadership in leading companies within the industry.
Buchan’s addition joins that of other international experts who will participate in the event, consolidating World Can Experience as a space for training, knowledge exchange and technological updates for metal packaging manufacturers and companies supplying the industry.
